Enjoy our Premier destination wedding venue set on a beautifully transformed historic fruit farm. The Farm 1893 offers several On-Site locations for your Ceremony, Rehearsal Dinner and Reception.

The Farm 1893 offers four on-site “Grain Bin” accommodations that together sleep 20+ guests, each unit uniquely appointed and designed for comfort and style. Every Grain Bin includes heat and air conditioning, a full kitchen and bathroom, flat-screen TV, and Wi‑Fi — ideal for wedding parties who want convenient, private lodging steps from the celebration.

A dedicated Bridal Suite features five salon stations, providing ample space and professional-ready setup for hair and makeup. The property’s amenities extend beyond accommodations: a one-acre flower patch, thoughtfully designed landscaping, water features, and landscape lighting create a relaxing, picturesque farm setting perfect for photos and outdoor moments. All elements combine to provide the comforts and conveniences needed to make an unforgettable, relaxed wedding experience.

The Farm 1893 is located in Berlin Heights, Ohio surrounded by sprawling farm fields. Just minutes from Lake Erie, local attractions include Kelley's Island, Put-In-Bay, Cedar Point, and many charming wineries. The venue is an hour west of Cleveland
Meet the Wlodarsky family-Walt, Rachel and their three daughters, Ella, Karin and Taylor-owners and operators of The Farm 1893.

Our Story

Our story is deeply rooted in the land, where tradition and transformation come together. Walt grew up on a farm that had been in his family for generations. The farm was once a thriving apple orchard, a place where the rhythms of the seasons and the hard work of the land shaped the daily life of the family. Over the years, however, the family business shut down, and the orchard was left dormant, its rich history fading with time.

In December of 2019, we had the opportunity to purchase the property from the family—a full-circle moment that felt both nostalgic and full of promise. What was once a beloved family farm now had the chance to be reborn, and we set out with a vision: to transform this beautiful piece of land into a place where new memories could be made, where the spirit of family and celebration would live on.

With a lot of heart and hard work, we completely reimagined the property, turning it into a stunning wedding and gathering venue. From the original orchard to the lush grounds, every corner of the property now serves as a backdrop for unforgettable moments. Whether it's a couple saying "I do" under the shade of an old tree, or families gathering to celebrate life's milestones, we’ve created a space where joy, love, and community can thrive.

This is a place where the past meets the present, where the legacy of the land continues through every event and every celebration. We are proud to share this special space with you and can't wait to be part of the story of your most cherished moments.
